The Philosopher's Stone & the Elixir of Life - Master work of The Alchemists..

My day started boring, i had logged on since morning trying to do something which i had not done before. Created a blog, then i did something else which i did after so many years..
I started with a novel, its 'The Alchemist - Paulo coehlo' I know that its hard for a person like me to sit for hours at a stretch & read thru completely, but then its the content of book that really kept my enthu high to get thru it.
Its a novel about a boy who dreamt of a treasure twice & tried hard to get his destiny to reality, the experiences he undergoes is framed so realistic..
I am not a critic to comment good/bad about the novel, but then being having a freedom to express, i feel that its a novel worth to read.
Some of the phrases that i wish to keep printed in my mind..
"Everything that happens once can never happen again, but everything that happens twice will surely happen a third time"
"When you possess great treasures within you, and try to tell others of them, seldom you are believed"

Some facts about the novel 'The Alchemist' :
The Alchemist (Portuguese: O Alquimista) is an allegorical novel by Paulo Coelho first published in 1988. It follows Santiago, a young Spanish shepherd, on a journey to fulfill his Personal Legend. It has been hailed as a modern classic. The plot is inspired from Jorge Luis Borges' short story: Tale of two dreamers..
The Alchemist was originally written in Portuguese and has since been translated into 67 languages, winning the Guinness World Record for most translated book by a living author. It has sold more than 65 million copies in more than 150 countries, becoming one of the best-selling books in history...

My Sincere Thanks to Mr. Paulo for "The Alchemist".. As said in the book "When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to acheive it" .. i hope the universe conspires in helping me to take a look at your other works too..
